Acosart 25/50 Tablets consist of the active ingredient Losartan Potassium. Losartan Potassium belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). If high cholesterol in blood is untreated, fatty deposits can build up in walls of blood vessel & makes it narrow. These narrow blood vessels can get blocked and cause heart attack or stroke. ROSVA Tablets is used to correct the levels of fatty substances in the blood called lipids, the most common of which is cholesterol. There are different types of cholesterol found in the blood: ‘bad’ cholesterol (LDL) and ‘good’ cholesterol (HDL). This medicine reduces ‘bad’ cholesterol and increases the ‘good’ cholesterol.
